What days and times do you offer tours?
We offer trips at 1 PM and 5:30 PM. For realtime availability please click "Book Tour" on the top of your screen.

Where do I meet this bus?
Unless otherwise specified, your guide will meet you at Strangeways Brewery ( 2277A Dabney Rd, Richmond, VA 23230) 15 minutes before the start of your tour. Please contact us for other options. Do not type Drink Richmond into your GPS or map program or you will show up at our office and while we would love to chat, your tour will not be there!

What tours and days are available?
We offer different types of tours daily, during both afternoons and evenings. We are available for private bookings, corporate and special events. For a full list of excursions and details, please visit the itinerary page or contact us.

Can you pick us up and drop us off?
Yes! We offer complimentary pickup and dropoff inside the red circle for private parties and groups of 5 or more. We can still reach you in the blue circle, but with a $50 charge.

What’s the ride like?
14-passenger shuttle bus with inward-facing seats so you can laugh at the people across from you.

How many people can be in a group?
Up to 23. Contact us for larger parties.

How old do I need to be?
You must be at least 21 to drink. Under 21 may purchase non-drinker tickets on select tours. Contact us for details.

What does the experience include?
Tastings, drinks, tours where available, and good times. For an exact list of where you will visit on which day, and what you will receive at each stop, please visit our Itinerary Page.

What should I expect?
Education and tours of the Richmond craft beer/spirt scene lots of samples, bonding with your friends and coworkers.

What should I do afterward?
Eat a delicious meal. Please remember not to drink and drive, and use uber/lyft and taxi services that are available.

Can I drink alcohol on the bus?
No. Drinking alcohol on the bus is not permitted.

Where should I stay?
Please contact us for hotel/bed & breakfast recommendations. Richmond has many nice hotels and B&Bs.

What should I wear?
Dress comfortably, as some of the venues require walking and have unconditioned spaces.

What if I drink too much?
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this and will end your tour immediately. We want this to be a fun trip so please do not drink too much or you will ruin the trip for others. You may make it to the wall of shame, risk fines and/or be ejected from the experience.

Will food be available?
We do not provide food on our tours, although snacks will be available for purchase at several of the stops, others may have food trucks. Brown-bag meals may be pre-purchased on private trips. You are welcome to bring your own snacks! We recommend eating a full meal before attending.

What if I don’t drink or I’m the Designated Driver (DD) after the experience?
Thanks for being responsible. We offer a non-drinker ticket for this purpose.

Can I cancel this adventure?
Bookings are final. However, sometimes we can reschedule you with advance notice for a $10 rescheduling fee.

Should I tip the driver/guide?
Yes, please do show your appreciation with gratuities.

Can I bring a firearm?
No. Firearms are not permitted on the bus or in the drinking establishments.

Is the experience handicap accessible?
No. The bus and some of the venues are not handicap accessible.

What is a growler?
A container for carrying beer. Makes a great souvenir or collectible.

What is mead?
An alcoholic drink of fermented honey and water. Considered "Honey Wine".
